Unschooling Slideshow Presentation

So in a recent post I mentioned attending ToorCamp 2012 and giving an Ignite-style (Ignite is a 5-minute format with 20 timed slides) presentation on the subject of Unschooling. I don’t know where the video is of me giving that talk, but there were issues with the conversion of the Power Point to Open Office, so not all my images or text showed up, which threw me off. Anyway, enough people said they wanted to see the talk that I agreed to do a voice-over record of the finished slideshow before I even got to ToorCamp. I FINALLY got that done. It’s a little painful to post something that you would tweak a bit if you could, but these are the actual slides I used, and the wording is pretty much the same as what I said at ToorCamp.
I also want to complain about the sound of my voice, but as my mom used to tell me, “Nobody is thinking about you as much as you’re thinking about you!” So on with the show:
When I figure out how to do it, I will add closed captioning.
Well, your voice is lovely, so there are no complaints there. Thanks for posting this. I still feel very leery about unschooling, but you make several good points I haven’t thought of before. It’s interesting to watch you on this journey, so keep posting.
